What is radiology?
Radiology, also known as diagnostic imaging, consists of various tests that take images of different parts of the body. Different imaging exams include X-ray, MRU, ultrasound, CT Scan, and PET scan.
What do radiologists do?Radiologists are highly trained and specialized in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using medical imaging. They will interpret and report on the resulting images, recommending treatment and when appropriate, will recommend additional tests.
